Healthy bounty balls
The perfect Friday night treat. They taste like the store bought bounty bars but without the white sugar and hydrogenated fat! For me, enjoying a treat knowing it doesn’t contain health harming ingredients actually increases the enjoyment of it.
Mix 1 cup desiccated or shredded coconut
1/4 of a cup Coconut cream
2 Tablespoons Cacao powder
2 tablespoons rice malt syrup
Roll into balls and freeze for 20-30 min
Then take out of freezer and in a bowl mix equal parts of sugar free drinking chocolate or raw cacao powder with the same amount of coconut oil and then roll the balls in it coating them, put back in freezer for another 10 min to set the chocolate.
